GOODRICH/KELLY
GK ConstructionWhen we first came to this property it was a small cottage pinned to the back of the farmhouse, with an adjoining coach house.
The coachhouse only had part of a roof and a tree had fallen through it. This extensive renovation saw us turn the coachhouse into a much-needed family room/kitchen and utility by replacing the roof and structure, building the floor slab up, thermally upgrading the walls etc, as well as considerate works to create a beautiful family home within the existing cottage. We also knocked through into an old storage room to create the large master bedroom with ensuite.
Again, working closely with the client on a personal specification saw the addition of such items as the stone pillars and beams in the main room, the brick fireplace, and the bespoke panelling in the master bedroom to name a few.
